PREDATOR RAIDERS

We were tasked with creating a promotional video for the brand new ACER Predator Helios 16S laptop. With Embark Studios’ video game Arc Raiders being the hottest ticket in town at the time, we developed a real life narrative around the concept of two scruffy chaps searching through a desolate scrapyard whilst being hunted by unseen mechanical foes.
We drew our audience in by building tension and intrigue before springing the beauty of ACER Predators latest laptop offerings. The video was used as part of a wider promotional campaign, including a sponsored stream on Twitch by the Two Angry Gamers themselves.
Recce Storyboard
We pre-visualised the video by walking it through the location and photographing each frame for the storyboard.
When it finally STOPPED raining that month, we found a date and shot the darn thing for real!
