Predator / PC Gamepass
For this promotional short, we built a simple story around a familiar scenario: Tommy, meant to be live on a sponsored stream, gets completely sidetracked by the sheer volume of games available on PC Game Pass. He ends up staying in bed all day, gaming in to the evening. Meanwhile we keep cutting back to Adam on the stream, getting increasingly confused regarding his whereabouts.
The film was used as the opener for a sponsored Two Angry Gamers stream followed by Tommy appearing on the actual livestream, apologising for being late, tying the joke together across platforms.
TIMELAPSE
Visually, we wanted to show the progression of time without cutting away. To do this, we used a motorised slider and gimbal head to create a slow-moving timelapse around Tommy’s setup. A timed lighting rig changed the feel of the room from day time to evening as the camera tracked around him, while he remained totally static, lost in the glow of his Predator laptop.
